I mean, yeah, he can't sing or whatever. But he's pretty. And he has great hair. And he's pretty. And fun. And so so pretty. Precious and pretty. Pretty Connie...

But they voted him off the show? Over Trach Boy? And VONZELL was in the bottom three? VONZELL got less votes that Scott?
All Barbie JonBenet could do was shake her head. She knew it wasn't right. She knew it was whack. And Simon had a big old smile on his face. Because his two favorites are Bo and Barbie. Ten bucks says he was up all night hitting the redial button on Barbie.

Things that will take you out of Wild Card contention for sure
- Singing a Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston song (that is unless you're mariah, whitney or jennifer hudson - hello)
- Singing ANYTHING by Michael Jackson. Seriously people. Who doesn't know that moonwalking with a shiny glove on gives you legendary artist status that should not be duplicated... plus he's creepy now.
- Smartmouthing the judges
- Wearing too little clothing or something that came from your little sister or daughter's closet. Ok this won't necessarily get you voted off, but it will cause me to dog you until you get your act together. remember: bro's before ho's

I agree, Rigged it IS. Scott should have been gone weeks ago. Why would we want someone an American Idol who doesn't know how to treat the mother of his child with more respect. I think AI should investigate and see if he has someone in the phone company that is messing with the lines.

Did anyone notice Carrie's face when the news broke about Constantine?? Was something going on between them? She looked devastated! While all the other contestants were jumping for joy she couldn't take her eyes off of him and looked about to cry.
Oh and also, there was no way Constantine got the lowest votes this week (c'mon did anyone NOT hear the screams for him after every performance). . . my conspiracy theory is that the producers found out about Carrie (America's Sweetheart) and Constantine's (a 29 yr old from Brooklyn) relationship and since the show is rigged for her to win anyway they couldn't risk having him around to ruin her reputation, so no more Constantine
When I read about that horrible movement to vote for the worst contestant on AI, I thought it wouldn't make a difference. But now, Constatine? How dare they? Those people at votefortheworst.com who are voting for Scott should be forced to listen to him sing out of tune for the rest of their lives. Anytime they turn on the radio only Scott songs will play. Want to listen to your favorite CD? Sorry, you can only listen to Scott!!! I can only hope that there are not enough of them voting to make a difference in the winner. On the bright side, with Connie gone, perhaps Bo will get some of his votes :)

This kind of thing happens every year though. Home town boy (or girl - remember Jasmine?) gets way too many votes because the home state does nothing but sit by the phone and hit re-dial. THose of you who are actually voting for talent have to step it up! Although I thought Constantine's version of the Nickleback song was horrible (reallly -listen to it without watching him) overall he's had way better performances than Scott & Anthony. This may be the last season I watch the show. Or maybe I'll just watch the auditions - at least you get to laugh at the really bad ones.
Constantine should have taken lessons from George Bush....play to your base. Connie had that "I'm the new David Cassidy" thing going on. But this week he tried to go head to head as a rocker vs Bo. Not happenin'. Plus Connie probably lost his teenie bopper vote. Simon was right once you go to the dark side, you cannot go back.
Do I think Constantine is more talented than Trach Boy? No doubt. But Trach Boy probably got some of the traditional Connie votes. Also is Trach Boy getting better or do I just expect so little from him that I'm surprised when it isn't a train wreck?

The only crime is Vonzell in the bottom 3. Bo, Carrie and Vonzell are only contestants that can sign a song from beginning to end.
Vonzell is the best overall package today. But she is not unique. It seems like talented divas grow on trees... Tamara, Tenyce, Kim, Fantasia, Loytona, Jenny, Nadia ...I'm sure I'm leaving someone else out.
Bo is excellent in his niche and that is a big niche. Plus the only AI rocker was the guy from Germany in the AI World competition.
Carrie has the most potential. She will probably biggest the star once someone shows her how to dress and dance. She should have danced with the cows not just sign to them.
Personally I would rather have seen Nadia, Anwar or Constantine be in the final 5 over Scott and Anthony but in the grand scheme of things, none of them could have been the American Idol.
After all wasn't Constantine just a upgraded Justin?
Okay I'm gonna get a bashing for this (getting my sheild out for protection). But I do think that Connie should of LEFT a long time ago, I've never liked him!! He as TOO COCKY in his before song interviews! He can't sing unless he's acting out some kind of scene, and that is what is scarey about him. He'd be a good broadway performer!!!
I do however disagree with the top 5, Scott was a train wreck this week, way off pitch and why in the world would he sing something like "Dance with my father", when he himself during his audition said that he and his father do not get along??? That's the baffeling part!!!!
Anthony (AKA Devil Spawn) was actually pretty shocky I think he got a lot of power votes because of the choice of song he sang, I mean how many MEN (or should i say in this case Boys) tackel a Celine Dion song? Granted I really DESPISE Celine Dion and anything to do with her, but you've got to give the boy credit.
Carrie, well I'm still her biggest fan (at least on here it seems), she's gonna win, MARK MY WORDS, not only because she, vonzell and Bo are the only 3 who can tap into the audience and make them feel something. Carrie is a sweet girl, and usually Sweetness + Talent means success!! Plus she's got a HUGE fan base. And I DON"T CARE WHAT YOU ALL SAY ABOUT HER SHE WILL BE THE NEXT IDOL!!! If you have a person like Kelly Clarkson and Kelly's mom backing you, YOU know you ARE GOOD.
Baby V, she did an amazing job, not a song that I would of chosen, really don't like that song, but yet it was a power performance.
WHat can i say about Bo, but when I think of him my heart goes Pitter Patter and i get butterflies in my stomach, there's something about Long Haired rockers that just turns me into jello.
MARK THESE WORDS, THE WORDS OF JADED, I so far have been right except for 1 person for the top 5, the Top three will be Baby V, Bo, and Carrie, and the final 2 are Bo and Carrie, and the next american Idol will be Carrie!!!!

I agree, constantine was awful, couldnt sing and was wayyy to arrogant. But no one agrees with my previous post that there was something between Constantine and Carrie??
Keith hit upon my theory - knowing your audience. Scott, like George W, appeals to middle-America average Joes. His hometown interviews reminded me so much of the presidential campaign tactics. Many people don't vote on talent or ability (see George W); they vote for the person that they like the most. Losers everywhere relate to Scott. They root for the underdog and live vicariously through him when he wins. That's why Scott is still in the competition.
Has anyone noticed how much better Carrie is during the group songs? She is much more relaxed and confident when she is sharing the stage with others. A lot of people criticize her for being a cold fembot, but I think she's just scared up on that stage all by herself. I know I would be!

Scott just gets the white trash vote. Without the gas station attendants', McDonald's drive through mens', and strippers' votes, as well as the votes of all the trailer trash, he would have been gone weeks ago.
I am shocked that Vonzell was voted off tonight. I was sure that Carrie was the one going home. Vonzell has an awesome voice and she has personality! Carrie is to stiff... has no body language... too innocent... I feel like I am watching the Lawrence Welk show with my grandma when I see her on stage... especially when she looked like "Barbie meets the Stepford wives". She's probably a sweet girl, but that's not what this contest is about. She has a nice voice, but she is sometimes off tune. Moreover, and most importantly, she really has no confidence in herself.. and it shows. I think Bo should be the one to win... He has such a strong voice and stage presence. He seems kind... and down to earth yet confident. Still, I'm very sad to see Vonzell go.... she has great energy and she wanted it badly. I guess we will see what happens next week.. I'd be shocked if Carrie wins. GO BO!!!!!!!!!

I reallllllly didn't like Scott and I was so happy when he was finally booted. I was surprised to see how far he had come. Still, I enjoyed when he sang "On Broadway" and directed the lyrics to Simon. That was cute. That was probably the only preformance by Scott that I liked... and it was his last. I very was surprised that Constantine went home before Scott and Anthony.
